Director’s Profile – Mrs. Jaya Bansal
With over 25 years of exemplary experience in early childhood education, Mrs. Jaya Bansal is
a respected educator, certified Montessori practitioner, and a committed advocate of
holistic, experiential learning. Her professional journey began in New Delhi, where she
spent four foundational years as an early learning educator, developing a deep-rooted
understanding of child psychology, pedagogy, and developmentally appropriate practices.
In 2003, she brought her vision to Ludhiana by establishing a franchise of Kangaroo Kids
Preschool. Under her leadership for over two decades, the preschool earned a reputation for
excellence in child-centric learning and innovative educational methodologies.
In addition to her pioneering work in early childhood education, Mrs. Jaya Bansal played an
instrumental role in bringing The Shri Ram Universal School (TSUS) to Ludhiana—an esteemed
K–12 CBSE-affiliated institution known for academic excellence and values-based education.
As a founding investor, academic advisor, and pedagogical resource for TSUS, she continues
to contribute to the school’s academic vision, strategic planning, and teacher development
initiatives.
In 2024, she aligned her preschool with The Shri Ram Wonder Years—the early years education
arm of the renowned Shri Ram Education group. This transition reflects her enduring
commitment to delivering world-class early childhood education grounded in empathy, inquiry,
and experiential learning.
A certified Montessori educator, Mrs. Jaya Bansal specializes in integrated curriculum
design, thematic instruction, and social-emotional development. She believes in nurturing
the whole child—intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically—by creating
environments that foster independence, creativity, and joyful discovery.
Her legacy is reflected in the generations of young learners she has guided, the educators
she has mentored, and the educational institutions she has helped build. Under her vision
and leadership, the preschool continues to thrive as a beacon of progressive and purposeful
early education in Ludhiana.

This is an activity that encourages young inquisitive minds to
experience, observe & question simple experiments. It is experiential and leads
children towards the thrill of discovery.
Circle Time
This is a special bonding time that develops in children the

and waiting patiently helps develop teamwork.
Choice Time
Children are free to move to different activity corners and choose
